In response to the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus developments, and at the suggestion of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and the State of California Department of Public Health, the City is closing the Senior Center until further notice. Even though there have been no reported cases of the virus in the Paramount community, this action is being taken in the spirit of extreme caution and concern for everyone’s health. We will keep everyone informed on the re-opening. Thank you for your understanding.
The Paramount Senior Center is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Evening hours vary depending on programming; consult the monthly seniors newsletter for exact times. Our mission is to provide the older adult population (60 years of age and up) in the community with a diverse offering of recreational, educational, social, and human services programs in environments that promote a spirit of dignity and limitless potential for later-life enrichment.
Our goals are to enhance quality of life, nurture talents and skills, foster social interaction, and support independence and self-determination.
