Street Sweeping in Paramount
During these uncertain times, public health and safety remain the top priorities for the City of Paramount.
One key component to those efforts is keeping City streets free of litter and debris. Consequently, we are committed to maintaining the regular street sweeping schedule.
We also understand that this is a very difficult and challenging time for our residents and many of your regular schedules have been drastically affected.
Recognizing these unusual circumstances, effective immediately, the Public Safety Department will no longer be issuing warnings or citations for vehicles parked during posted sweeping hours until further notice.
We ask, though, that residents move their vehicles on their street sweeping days whenever possible. If you cannot, we encourage everyone to help the City by picking up litter and keeping your street free of trash and debris.
Should our streets start to become overrun with trash and other debris, the Public Safety Department might need to start issuing parking citations in the name of health and safety.
